Learning to surf can be a very positive and empowering experience. There’s the thrill of catching your first wave, of being in the ocean and enjoying the great outdoors with friends. When you’re paddling into a wave, the only place you can be is right there. Everything else slips away. Learn to surf for fun, to build confidence, for social connection and to de-stress. We run our surf lessons from one of the safest and most consistent wave producing beaches in Perth - Surf Beach in Secret Harbour which is about 45 minutes South of Perth. We are proud to be an affiliated Surfing WA Surf School offering the Woolworths SurfGroms programs as well as adhering to their strict policies for participant safety and coaching guidelines. All lessons include a wetsuit, soft core user friendly Surfboard and leg rope.

Prefer to be one on one or in a smaller group when learning? Have a group of friends or co-workers that want to try surfing? Then try our private or small group package and get more time with your coach for the best outcome possible!

Weekend Group Surf Lessons & Teens Term Based Sunday sessions

A great way to get started and see if Surfing is for you! Fun group environment with one coach per eight participants, teaching the basics of Surf safety and how to stand up on a surfboard.

SurfGroms Programs

SurfGroms is a fun, interactive program that teaches children from 5-12 years old not only how to surf, but also core skills in the ocean across five incremental skill levels. Our SurfGroms learn fundamental ocean awareness, beach safety, surf survival, rescue techniques, basic first aid and about varying surf conditions. The program is designed to be ongoing and is the perfect weekend sport activity or holiday adventure.

Progression Sessions - Intermediate Classes

Ready to take the next step in your surfing journey!? Move beyond the white wash and gain confidence navigating green waves. Fantastic group sessions for those ready to take their surfing to the next level.

Video Analysis Session

2 hour package which includes 1 hour surf session and 1 hour of video analysis, breaking down technique and skill development. We use the latest video analysis tools to fine tune your surfing as an intermediate surfing looking for progress.

Link to individualised online analysis, with feedback from Aaron for your own record of progress.

Surfing Birthday Parties have become hugely popular! Both adults and kids are inviting their besties to join them in the surf and celebrate their special day.

Board Hire

Board Hire $22 p/hour including Wetsuit/ $55 for 4 hours (Terms and conditions apply)

We adhere to Surfing WA’s strict guidelines of 1 coach for every 8 students so you get valuable one on one time with your instructor, and to ensure your safety in the surf. All of our instructors are qualified with Surfing Australia, maintain a current Bronze Medallion or Surf Rescue certificate, First Aid and Working with Children’s card.
